Please don’t put me on a pedestal.
I’m not made of clay
nor beaten from metal.
I’m not hewn out of rock
nor cloth stuffed with hay.
Just a structure of flesh
& blood & bones,
I come with all human frailties
just as windows software
comes bundled with
every Pentium PC.
Just like a million others
tho’ I like to think
of myself as
slightly different,
you see?
