Lodged in the soft sand of a river bed.
Water flows around me.
Dried leaves and twigs stop at me for a while and then carry on.
Fish nibble at my edges.
I stay where I am- unmoved, unmoving.
And yet, I change
As every second
I join the flow, particle by pebbly particle.
