Vulture

Some say
life is about
taking risks.

Risk sometimes
crystallizes.

On a dizzy cliff.

The involuntary
somersault
into nothingness.

Down below,
the body hits rock
with a thud
that stills all else.

I feast on the remains.

  1. Wow! Such a gripping poem.

Which font, the cursive one or the one the poem is written in?

  4. Zongrik,
First: I have used the word 'remains', not 'remnants'.
Two: 'remnants' don't mean cannibalism :) Cannibals are those who eat their own kind. Vultures eat the carrion of any animal.
